Clever's Day at the Park

Clever wanted to make sure he didn't cause any trouble.

It was a big playground for such a little dinosaur.

He decided to attempt a very simple-looking slide.

Sadly, it wasn't made for dinosaurs.

He got back up to go take a look at the curly slide.

That one worked much better.

Auntie Kim took a turn pushing Clever on the swings--it ended badly.

Clever couldn't come back from that.

Another try revealed Clever's swinging abilities. We were so proud.

  2. I worry me too, dude. Regularly!

While we were at the park, I said to Kim, "I guess I'll know I'm with the right guy when he doesn't mind me dragging around a stuffed dino for photoshoots."

She said, "Maybe you'll meet him doing this and he won't think it's lame."

    Seems impossible--but it's a nice thought.

  3. It can happen. Mike has apparently gotten used to me holding conversations with my story characters and inner critic at random intervals...
    "Hon do you want pizza?"
"Dammit! The ship can't go that fast without the crystal matrix! What were you thinking?!"
    *Mike slowly backs away*
