We made a friend at the hostel. Her name is A-cole and she's here from Hong Kong. We walked a long way in city looking for a cupcakerie. Found it. Then walked here to have margaritas, which I'm going to indulge in.

This restaurant is full of loud, laughing people and listening to my two friends talk over the menu makes me feel warmer than my jacket. Salt from the chips is on my fingertips and my lips taste like chilies. This may be the best salsa I've ever had. The burn remains when the taste is only a memory.

I am so happy today. From standing on the stern of a ship, soaked in rain, to delicious food with my oldest and newest friend, it has been an amazing day. And it isn't over yet.
