A kindly gentleman with black pants and shiny shoes has offered to help me navigate the bus system. His name is Smith and we almost got hit by a car together. While Metrorail is easy for me, the buses are a new and confusing system that I didn't research well enough before I met Kristen at AIR. We went to Agrarian, a nice place that serves meat direct from midwestern farmers. She introduced me to the Wisconsin Cheeseburger. It's a hamburger served between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches and even though we split it, I was exceptionally full. The conversation was even better than the burger but then, with Kristen it always is. I love that girl. She's so strong. And funny. And kind. And beautiful. I could go on... I'm back on the Metro now. A young guy moved his stuff so I could sit but I sit enough. Standing is good. I'm going to the Smithsonian for awhile now. I can't get enough of it.
